Today I went to school and packed goodie bags for the open house! We have to pack 12000 goodie bags in two days. Horror. Manpower is limited and the motto we lived by today was "Once you start, you can't stop".
Was pretty fun and hilarious though. We packed about 3000 goodie bags today! 9000 more to go... Have to go back tomorrow again urgh.

Oh before heading home, I got myself pearly soya milk from Mr Bean. Was complementing if I should though. Got it anyway and regretted after I finished the drink -_- Pearls = starch fml.

Alright, should head to bed soon! Another long day tomorrow, and also have to start all my projects which is really piling up. My to-do-list of things are all unticked...

This is what you get when you put me and my group in a project room on a Friday. Hahahaahhaha. Don't judge us. And don't underestimate Nathaniel who is the backup dancer. He told us he wouldn't do the dance... Act yi ge only!!! Please just look at him! Sometimes in the video you can even see him peeking out of the door to see if anyone's looking. Hahaahahaha OMG I can't believe we did this in a library. Fel is like the leader (the girl with pink hair streaks) (she looks so punky ikr). She must have practiced this at home hahaha or is a natural talent?! Me ah... Hahaha anyhow only. Anw I think we all can dance in a group. Got feel right?? We didn't even rehearse beforehand!! Quite synchronized yes no??? You know what? Today is such a blah day. I spent last night mugging like a hardcore mugger (i studied all the way and even dreamt about it) (am very serious about my A) (AND FELT CONFIDENT GETTING AN A)

And then the exam turned out to be.... So easy that it became difficult.

I concentrated soooo sooo much on the last few topics since they are more theory based/ difficult at the back but they gave me crap that appeared in front of my book which i didn't even take notice of urgh.

Still manageable though.. Just hope that i will be able to get all the concepts right yeah tarz??? Fyi, one question = 10 marks so it's really good game if I wrote about the wrong one...

The 'I can't think of a title' post

So today my lesson ended at 7 and I went to take the bus alone since Nat was still having lessons. Instead of taking bus 15 which goes back to Tampines interchange, I took bus 69 (goes to Bedok interchange) thinking it was the correct bus -stabs self- I found a seat and naturally sat down (who wants to stand right duh). The sky was dark and the bus was crowded, I COULDN'T SEE WHERE THE BUS WAS GOING UNTIL I saw the bedok bus interchange. I was still having the mindset that I was on the RIGHT BUS (self denial ikr) (stabs selfx2) and called Nat for help for directions back to Tampines. Bedok was having pasar malam and I got tempted to get some tutu kuehs so the entire journey took about 1h+ fml.

Later on I told Esther and Nat and Azr (we have a whatsapp group btw, randomly named Power Rangers lol by me) about it and then Nat asked me, 'why are you taking bus 69 in the first place?' I was STILL IN DENIAL AT THAT TIME and as a innocent 17 yo girl, I still thought that I took the right bus, just that I overshot. That is terrible enough, but when they told me that I took the WRONG bus, I can't help but -stabs self a million times- /_\ Being in this school for more than half a year and still NOT knowing which bus goes to where makes me extremely ashamed of myself lol can I go bang on a wall or smth??? Most of my friends know that I am a sotong, very blur e.g. Like a goldfish but this time round I can't even save myself from this LOL I CAN'T EVEN..... Seriously I should go die in a fire or just die in a less painful way.

And now I am in bus 969 on my way home. The aircon is leaking water (RIGHT ABOVE ME) and I just can't... justify how unlucky I am today. Or just... Plain stupid.

TGIF!!! So sorry for not updating this space ever since school started and I have no good excuses for not updating twistyturn haha. I have been lazing around and have also started taking long naps in the afternoon :/ Life is good when you don't have tutorials! Anyway, I've been enjoying school life lately ^^ Took up Basic Japanese and Business Calculus as my cross disciplinary subjects. Quite excited to learn Japanese and also to go to Japan one day~! (I can count 1 to 10 in Jap now thanks to Esther hehe)

Not feeling well tonight.. The flu bug caught me off guard and I'm sneezing 10 times/hour :( I'm still collecting pics of the chalet but here's a few GIFs I made!!

School is starting tomorrow - I have a 9am class and I am planning to meet up with some of my classmates before that to get our books! Still can't believe the fact that school is starting in less than 12 hours' time and I am back to the life where I rush for projects/ burn my weekends in school fml. No matter what, I ought to do well for this sem cus' I didn't do that great for last sem... Sigh.

Nat's 17th birthday! We planned to go shopping on that day but I realized that it was Nat's birthday (he didn't mention a word about his birthday -_-) and we ended up getting more hyped up for the mini birthday surprise haha.

Met up with Azr and Esther 1h earlier to buy a mini cake!

Azr's feather hair extension!! Damn kewwwwl.

Azr's new iPhone case! It says "Marc Jacobs" if you look closely. Authenticity unknown haha (most prob fake tho)

Had quite a bit of time left after buying the cake so we went to grab a bite!

We lied to him that we wanted to buy Gong Cha and successfully tricked him to Scape haha. I went to "withdraw money with Esther" while they went to get Gong Cha. Funny thing: None of us gotten Gong Cha but Nat did. Hahahahhaha

Ice Skating!!

Went ice skating with Nat, Azrayna, Esther and Wan Jing!! It was my second time there and I am glad to say that I can skate without holding onto anything anymore ^^ Anyway, all of them can skate pretty well :O Especially Nat! He skates for thrills and he skates quite fast! Nearly died when skating with him.

Wore a super thick knitted top on that day. It was freezing in the skating rink.

Haha this girl was learning how to skate walk (?). She walked around the rink for a couple of times but she did not attempt on skating. Cute!

The inner circle (surrounded with cones) are for the pros to skate lol. Most of them are kids though.

And they have ice skating instructors there!!

Went to Esther's house last week for a movie! With Azr and Nat and me duh. We caught the movie "I Spit On Your Grave" and it was disturbing and disgusting. It's about this girl who was being raped by 5 guys and how she went back to seek revenge on them. I have many awkward moments throughout the movie - Nat was sitting beside me and there's like nudity and torture scenes so yeah LOL awkward -_- Like the female lead though! She has abs O_O And a beautiful face of course. This movie was intense and realistic but I suggest that you don't watch it lol some of the scenes were extremely disturbing.

Finally met up with Bernice yesterday! If I am not wrong, I met up with her only twice this year? Our last meet up lasted for only an hour :(

We (and Sonia) went to this steamboat shop @ Bugis called Huo Guo Zhi Jia (火锅之家) to have our dinner after shopping!

Picked fish bone soup and tom yum soup as the soup bases! Tom yum soup gets quite salty after awhile so don't get that if you are planning to go there!

Some of the food we got. Looks a lot but we gobbled all of them wtf.

Haha was telling Sonia the fish bone soup (on the left) was Bedok Reservoir and there's a bear bear floating hahahahahaha. Still don't get why people dump corpses there.... Think there's more than 10 dead people found there? Bedok Reservoir is just very near my school *shivers*

Bernice looks skinny here so I posted this up.. And look at her $29.95 Cotton On top. Sonia and I chided her for buying it. So not worth it lor!! This stupid girl also went to perm her hair ($217) (!!!) omg madness what can I do with $217 oh my god.

Tried using the new toaster oven! Me and my bro tried adding cheese and tuna on a plain bread and then toast it - it was plain mouthgasm *______*
The cheese melted and with the tuna mayo (ayam brand!), it was heavenly good!!!!

What this post is about: Having lunch with the F1 girls, ice skating (!!!) with a whole bunch of people, Sonia and Shi Peng wearing couple plaids, loads of Actioncam pix, disgusting Hershey chocolate cream cake, midnight monopoly deal games at Macs, and meatballs and pastas and chicken wings and salmon at Ikea. Pretty eventful week!

The main point of the entire post is, can someone get me this $35 shark soft toy which is about 1 meter long for me? Incredibly soft and fluffy.

Anyway, I just came back from a run. Stamina went down to the drain.. Sigh. Can't wait to zjm with jing and janice tomorrow! Finally~~ Ok excuse me I am gonna take a bathe and then eat my fried rice. Happy weekend!!

Went to Shang Palace at Shangri-La yesterday and instead of having the usual dim sums, we ordered cod fish and beef cubes(?). It was yummylicious and finger lickin' good and oh I couldn't stop after the first bite. The fish wasn't flaky at all and the meat was white and sweet. Yumzz....

Looking at this makes me hungry :( Really like the sauce of the beef dish.. I bet there's a thousand and one ingredients used to make the sauce cus' I could taste the "complications" of the sauce roflmao. The beef.... Tender and soft and melts in my mouth wtf. Need I say more??

A reminder to self

This is a prepared text of the Commencement address delivered by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, on June 12, 2005.

"I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I've ever gotten to a college graduation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That's it. No big deal. Just three stories.

The first story is about connecting the dots.

I dropped out of Reed College after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before I really quit. So why did I drop out?

It started before I was born. My biological mother was a young, unwed college graduate student, and she decided to put me up for adoption. She felt very strongly that I should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife. Except that when I popped out they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl. So my parents, who were on a waiting list, got a call in the middle of the night asking: "We have an unexpected baby boy; do you want him?" They said: "Of course." My biological mother later found out that my mother had never graduated from college and that my father had never graduated from high school. She refused to sign the final adoption papers. She only relented a few months later when my parents promised that I would someday go to college.

And 17 years later I did go to college. But I naively chose a college that was almost as expensive as Stanford, and all of my working-class parents' savings were being spent on my college tuition. After six months, I couldn't see the value in it. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and no idea how college was going to help me figure it out. And here I was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life. So I decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out OK. It was pretty scary at the time, but looking back it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The minute I dropped out I could stop taking the required classes that didn't interest me, and begin dropping in on the ones that looked interesting.

It wasn't all romantic. I didn't have a dorm room, so I slept on the floor in friends' rooms, I returned coke bottles for the 5¢ deposits to buy food with, and I would walk the 7 miles across town every Sunday night to get one good meal a week at the Hare Krishna temple. I loved it. And much of what I stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on. Let me give you one example:

Reed College at that time offered perhaps the best calligraphy instruction in the country. Throughout the campus every poster, every label on every drawer, was beautifully hand calligraphed. Because I had dropped out and didn't have to take the normal classes, I decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to do this. I learned about serif and san serif typefaces, about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. It was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science can't capture, and I found it fascinating.

None of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. But ten years later, when we were designing the first Macintosh computer, it all came back to me. And we designed it all into the Mac. It was the first computer with beautiful typography. If I had never dropped in on that single course in college, the Mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts. And since Windows just copied the Mac, it's likely that no personal computer would have them. If I had never dropped out, I would have never dropped in on this calligraphy class, and personal computers might not have the wonderful typography that they do. Of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when I was in college. But it was very, very clear looking backwards ten years later.

Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

My second story is about love and loss.

I was lucky — I found what I loved to do early in life. Woz and I started Apple in my parents garage when I was 20. We worked hard, and in 10 years Apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage into a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees. We had just released our finest creation — the Macintosh — a year earlier, and I had just turned 30. And then I got fired. How can you get fired from a company you started? Well, as Apple grew we hired someone who I thought was very talented to run the company with me, and for the first year or so things went well. But then our visions of the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out. When we did, our Board of Directors sided with him. So at 30 I was out. And very publicly out. What had been the focus of my entire adult life was gone, and it was devastating.

I really didn't know what to do for a few months. I felt that I had let the previous generation of entrepreneurs down - that I had dropped the baton as it was being passed to me. I met with David Packard and Bob Noyce and tried to apologize for screwing up so badly. I was a very public failure, and I even thought about running away from the valley. But something slowly began to dawn on me — I still loved what I did. The turn of events at Apple had not changed that one bit. I had been rejected, but I was still in love. And so I decided to start over.

I didn't see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.

During the next five years, I started a company named NeXT, another company named Pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife. Pixar went on to create the worlds first computer animated feature film, Toy Story, and is now the most successful animation studio in the world. In a remarkable turn of events, Apple bought NeXT, I returned to Apple, and the technology we developed at NeXT is at the heart of Apple's current renaissance. And Laurene and I have a wonderful family together.

I'm pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn't been fired from Apple. It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith. I'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle.

My third story is about death.

When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: "If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right." It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.

Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.

About a year ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I had a scan at 7:30 in the morning, and it clearly showed a tumor on my pancreas. I didn't even know what a pancreas was. The doctors told me this was almost certainly a type of cancer that is incurable, and that I should expect to live no longer than three to six months. My doctor advised me to go home and get my affairs in order, which is doctor's code for prepare to die. It means to try to tell your kids everything you thought you'd have the next 10 years to tell them in just a few months. It means to make sure everything is buttoned up so that it will be as easy as possible for your family. It means to say your goodbyes.

I lived with that diagnosis all day. Later that evening I had a biopsy, where they stuck an endoscope down my throat, through my stomach and into my intestines, put a needle into my pancreas and got a few cells from the tumor. I was sedated, but my wife, who was there, told me that when they viewed the cells under a microscope the doctors started crying because it turned out to be a very rare form of pancreatic cancer that is curable with surgery. I had the surgery and I'm fine now.

This was the closest I've been to facing death, and I hope it's the closest I get for a few more decades. Having lived through it, I can now say this to you with a bit more certainty than when death was a useful but purely intellectual concept:

No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

When I was young, there was an amazing publication called The Whole Earth Catalog, which was one of the bibles of my generation. It was created by a fellow named Stewart Brand not far from here in Menlo Park, and he brought it to life with his poetic touch. This was in the late 1960's, before personal computers and desktop publishing, so it was all made with typewriters, scissors, and polaroid cameras. It was sort of like Google in paperback form, 35 years before Google came along: it was idealistic, and overflowing with neat tools and great notions.

Stewart and his team put out several issues of The Whole Earth Catalog, and then when it had run its course, they put out a final issue. It was the mid-1970s, and I was your age. On the back cover of their final issue was a photograph of an early morning country road, the kind you might find yourself hitchhiking on if you were so adventurous. Beneath it were the words: "Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish." It was their farewell message as they signed off. Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish. And I have always wished that for myself. And now, as you graduate to begin anew, I wish that for you.

Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.

Day 2 of the F1 event! Can I just say that my legs are aching so badly that I can't feel my toes anymore o.o That doesn't make sense but my toes are aching too. My poor feet... Sobss. And I smell like a freaking chicken wing. I had to scrub and wash my entire body three times before I smell good again. Business was so good tonight that everything was sold out 3 hours before closing. I took my own sweet time to pack everything/restock the drinks/help out at the counter till 12am so that I can claim my taxi fare ^^ I can also conclude that the top 2 best sellers are beer and satay (12 sticks of satay + 2 beer is $24 btw) (not that you want to know lol).

Seriously I am so tired that I don't know what I am talking about. What I wrote doesn't make sense. But I still want to blog about it cus' I know I will forget about everything after zzzZing. Ok and there's Shakira and other calefares performing tonight. Shakira's live performance is mehhhhhhhh and I can hardly hear her singing -_- She did sing waka waka and shewolf though.. As for the night race, I have absolutely no idea who won because I was soooo busy that I didn't even bother to watch from the big screen (which is in front of me btw). It was like hungry ghost festival and everyone wants satay and beer and coke.

Speaking of coke, I am super pissed whenever people tell me that they want DIET coke. Seriously??? I personally think that coke and diet coke taste the same and diet coke is NOT healthier than coke. It is just another lame business strategy that the company uses to trick their customers. If you want to be healthy, don't drink coke. Coke is NEVER healthy. If you want to drink it, drink the real deal. Not diet coke.

The limelight of tonight was the super lame and hilarious pick up lines used by the Caucasians. I think most of my girlfriends kena this everyday. Muscle ache

Writing this post while lying in bed! I had a great day today :D Except that I lost my way and couldn't find the kiosk and I didn't bring my map.. Found someone wearing the same team shirt and tagged along with them. Anw, super happy cus I served a lot of ang mos and they are always smiling :D + they are super friendly and considerate. The place I am allocated to is opposite to this stall called 'The Mexican' and all their staff are quite good looking!! Eye candies the entire day and some of them had british accent mad love!!!! I predicted that today's sale might have exceeded $15k since everything is crazy overpriced. One coke for $3? Two chicken wings for $4? One cup of beer for $8?? Insane lor so next time if you are going for the f1 racing event you might want to bring your own food and drinks.

I saw Mr Daniel Chai (or is it chia??) today and he bought 12 sticks of satay from me. He is the most sarcastic teacher/lecturer I have EVER MET. He is in his late 30s and is not married yet. Tonight, he was with this lady and he literally waved at me with BOTH OF HIS HANDS (think of windscreen wiper action 10x) (he never did wave to anyone in his entire life) (yes he is that unfriendly). His action was so disturbing and shocking that I stoned there for 5 seconds before proceeding his order lol. Still hate him for giving me a shitty grade for

Science Centre!!

Went Science Centre with Sonia a zillion days ago and she finally updated her blog with this set of pics. So I kopped some of the photos from her and also found bits and pieces of pics in my computer. Science Centre is a complete waste of money and time and you might want to go there only once in a lifetime lol. We caught an imax movie called "Born to be wild" at the Omni Theatre and that was the highlight of that day. The movie screen covers the entire ceiling and it felt like I am in the wild with the elephants... I nearly pat the elephants (in the screen) with my hands HAHAHA.

Recently, my bro recommended me this site where I can design my own laptop sleeve! Recently, I switched to the new blogger interface! Wow and I am in love. It looks so clean and white and sleeky. So much better than the old one...

I also added a list of blogs that I read/check at the side bar. They are mainly fashion blogs or popular local blogs that I love to read. Do check them out! Will definitely be adding more sites that I enjoy reading into the list in the future. Btw these are not all the blogs I read ok. I read a lot more but these are my favorite ones haha. Thinking if I should create a new blog list consisting of my friends' blog. Sometimes I wish more of my friends blog :( I love reading blogs but most of my friends are not active in the blogsphere anymore.. Blogging used to be super hyped one!! In year 2007-2008 if you have a blog, you are considered cool. If you have a blog WITH a tag box, you are a hipster!!! If you got a lot of tags WAH then you super cool liao lor.

There are some who still keep a blog as a diary/journal but I don't think they want me to put up their links here hmm. Anw you can check out Phoebe's blog http://phoebunny.blogspot.com. She might be the only friend I know of who still updates frequently and I like reading her blog haha.

Just realized I have been updating twistyturn very diligently this month! I have the highest number of updates this month ever since I started up this blog 3-4 years ago. And we are only halfway through the month September -_- *pats back* If you are curious why am I updating twistyturn so often these days is because I realized I need something to fall back on, you know? Like a back up. At least when I grow up I have something to refer to. And my children can read my blog next time LOL ok thinking too much. I don't want to rely on Facebook for pictures or updates or status. SO UNRELIABLE AND MESSY. And not to mention so congested with strangers/se bei beis/people I don't know.

A very heavy post with shitloads of photos (mostly taken using the ActionCam app). I have a lot of pics of 2x2 grid because wherever I go, my friends and I photo spam each other -_- We do it so often that they now call me bian lian wang aka change face king which is a direct chinese translation wtf. Anyway bian lian wang is this chinese monster (seriously???) who changes his face very quickly (using masks lah duh). The actual retail price was $10 (already very cheap) but I told the lady boss to give me discount as 1) this was the last pair (IN MY SIZE!!!) 2) I found defects. So she gave me $2 discount!

I am super happy with my buys today! Think I can be buy more awesome stuff than budget barbie hahaha. Maybe I should call myself budget tarbie?! Haha. I wonder how long can this pair of platforms last? Actually I am not pinning any high hopes on this pair cus' what can you expect from such cheap shoes?! If it can tahan for >3 months, it will be a bonus.. If not, it doesn't matter too! Seriously not expecting much but still feeling happy ^^

Hello!! I am now in a train heading towards tiong bahru to collect my security pass for the f1 event! Am so bored now because I forgot to bring a book and it's gonna be a long journey! Just realized I am wearing quite a bit of accessories so I decided to share it with you guys hahaha.

1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children's youth and their partner's companionship. Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.

By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.

3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.

Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.

We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly,in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way, you win.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

Often they would not truly realise the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved.Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.
It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip.But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end. That is all that remains in the final weeks,love and relationships.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realise until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called 'comfort' of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have sillyness in their life again.
When you are on your deathbed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again,long before you are dying.

Painted my nails with the new OPI polish I got from a flea today. It's a glitterish blueish color which looks fab but turns out to be meh. Gonna buy the nude and shatter one next time. Want the rose and khaki green color from Chanel too...

Just came back from Movie Under The Stars which was held in school. Basically we watched Inception at the outdoor auditorium and had free flow of coke and snacks. They had a mini lucky draw and I actually won something lol. I kinda expected all three of us would win something because there were only around 50 people who participated in this event. I won the third prize which is a bag of goodies that is sponsored by coca cola haha.

Umm what is this called? A recycling bag? I have no idea but this looks pretty cool (even my bro says so haha) and I quite like it! Anyone wants to buy it from me? $10 lol

A super oversized tee which is super comfy. When I first saw this tee, I knew it's gonna be my new favorite pjs cus IT'S SO COMFY. The tee says "Deja Vu" with this logo which appeared in the movie Inception if i am not wrong. Deja Vu and Inception. Geddit??? So cool!!!

They gave me a free water bottle!! I wanted a new water bottle and I don't need to waste $ on one now hehehe

I think Movie Under The Stars was great!! You get free flow of drinks and snacks + seal points why not right? Don't know why is the attendance pathetic but this event is definitely a good time to chill with your friends even though 90% I was watching the movie intensively lol. Btw, Inception was great! Brilliant and genius I would say and I am still a little confused till now wtf.

Watching movie with Timsy tomorrow. Gonna wear my new heels out! Excited.

I am now cuddling with my favorite pet toy (duckie) under my $19.95 Ikea floral bedsheets. Youtube is refusing to load so I have nothing to do at this time (and thus, decided to blog) (again). The internet connection in my room is so sucky that the only thing that loads is blogger. Oh and the reason why I am in my room is because this baby li***d crawled out of his/her crib and then gave me the shock of my night. He or she is black brownish color and I hate li**** (let's just call him pony). Actually ponies is so much cuter but oh well that's the only name I can think of now. I hate pony and when I hear pony's real name, it sends shudders down my ass. That reminds me of my first experience with pony. When I was 7, I placed my school bag on the floor and it crushed pony to DEATH. The next morning, I lift up my bag, touched the dead pony, THINKING IT WAS PLASTICINE. And when my mom on the lights, I saw a freaking you-know-who. Geez this is something I will always remember. It's one of the top 3 most hated living thing on Earth, just right below frogs.

Plans for tomorrow: Spend time with my laptop + put on a mask + sauna.

Ok I am not sure if I am sane right now or not. Going to brush my teeth and go to bed. Hope that I don't dream about ponies tonight... fingers crossed.

New Laptop

So I got my new macbook last week! :D It was installed with the newest OS X Lion so I had a fun time 'swiping my fingers'! Hehe. It took my about two days to get used to the whole interface as I was a PC user for as long as I can remember. So far so good! Love everything about this computer and I am gonna go watch more videos to learn more about this baby!

Anyway, I realised I am quite a fan of Apple products. I have tried using almost all of their iPods and I love it. Ok I know this whole apple-whoreification thing sounds disgusting but they are really awesome to use?! I know a lot of people say that iPhone is overrated blah blah blah but you got to admit it is really brilliant and user friendly? Or else there won't be so many people converting to iPhone users these days... I think the engineers of Apple Inc is really smart cus' once you start using their products, it's hard to change back to other brands (proven by me haha).

My last presentation with my group mates! They are my first batch of group mates in poly and in freshie year too and I think we did pretty well for this sem :D Am so happy cus' we will be working with each other again the next sem!! I know some groups that are having conflicts because their group mates are not working with each other.. So I am fortunate and blessed to have them as my group mates cus' they are all mad responsible and efficient when it comes to work.

Buying my laptop tomorrow or by next week! I am supposed to buy one even before school starts but I was too lazy to research on which model to buy. But now I am being nagged by my bro to get one so... I narrowed down to three choices!

1. Toshiba Portege r830

I don't fancy Toshiba. But this laptop is only 1.4kg!! Which is freaking light. I think it looks ugly and bulky but this model comes in red. Red!!! The only thing I like about this laptop is that it is very light. Think it is lighter than MacBook air?

2. The new MacBook air!

I always wanted to buy this cus I thought it looks really sleeky and pretty hahaha and after I turned to #teamiPhone, I became a lil bias towards Apple products! The new MacBook air comes with the new OS X Lion (I have tried it, pretty cool to use) and wah I am kinda tempted to get this. However, I have quite a lot of friends who used to use MacBook Air and they told me that it gets heat up really easily? So most of them ended up buying MacBook Pro after this one died which is my third and last choice.

3. MacBook Pro
This is a little heavier and bulkier than MacBook Air but its specs are definitely better than the Air! It also doesn't get heat up as easily as the Air but.... It's 2+kg? The thought of bringing a heavy laptop to school doesn't appeal to me at all since I do bring my laptop to school quite often.

All the three laptops have its own pros and cons. But I really like the MacBooks. I love their Photobooth function hahahaha!! But if I were to buy a MacBook, I will definitely buy the Pro one because I am quite a heavy user - I can use my laptop all day long at home. Sometimes, I don't even switch off my computer haha. And MacBook's battery life is pretty awesome too.. It can lasts a minimum of 6 hours? That means I don't have to bring charger to school! Woohoo! I guess after this blog post I already know which to buy already. Ok I feel kinda stupid talking to myself so I shall get out of here now. BYE

Oh btw I want to say that my bro is super awesome. He wanted to sponsor the laptop! *blessed* But I rejected that idea cus' my dad is buying it for me and I didn't want him to spend too much money on me :) If you ever see this, I love you bro!! And my dad too!!!!!!

I just woke up from my nap. The first thing I did after I woke up was to checked twitter and I heard that my coursework grade for my favourite subject, IHT (intro to hospitality and tourism) is out. So I frantically switched on my laptop and check my grade. So I got a sucky C+. I thought that the paper was easy but I guess our group project pulled us down. Not very sad about it cus' I got an A for another subject (which is quite boring btw) haha.

School's been ok. I have been getting B+ and As for all my subs (exclude f&b) so I guess its pretty ok? Not very good but not too bad either. Going to work hard for the main papers so I can push all the grades up. Been enjoying going to school this week since I am released at 2pm most of the days. Haven't been maximizing time usage by studying though... Most of the time I take naps/watch dramas/waste my time on the internet.

I thought that I should update my blog occasionally so that I have something to read and remember when I get older. Oh that reminds me that my birthday is coming. Do you know that my birthday falls on the opening of the first H&M outlet in Singapore? Ok lol random fact of the day.
